THE REAL IMPACT OF WIND POWER:

A CALL FOR RESEARCH

As the wind industry grows, so does concern about its impact on our environment and society. That’s why it’s so important that we ensure public understanding is current and free from wind industry bias.

For instance, existing research is outdated or insufficient. Therefore, we must address and rectify any potentially misleading representations. Indeed, current, unbiased studies are crucial to properly assessing the full spectrum of the wind industry's impact. This includes ecological and environmental repercussions and any social and economic implications.

We call for deeper and more comprehensive research into the real impacts of wind energy development. Areas often overlooked or underrepresented in mainstream

research needs to be investigated.

We welcome academics, researchers, students, and institutions to access our existing information, contribute to research, or participate in workshops and webinars. Your independent work is essential to increase public and policymakers' knowledge of the true

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, AND RESEARCH

A CRITICAL NEED FOR

COMPREHENSIVE RESEARCH

To truly understand the impacts the wind industry is having on our planet, society, and future, we must perform unbiased, comprehensive research into the following areas.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS

This includes addressing concerns around microplastics, PFAS, BPA, and effective and feasible waste management strategies.

ECOLOGICAL AND MARINE LIFE

This means addressing any ecological and climate implications, particularly the impact on marine life and food security.

HUMAN RIGHTS

AND ETHICS

Publicizing any implications the wind industry might have for business and human rights, particularly those related to land grabbing and other ethical considerations, is essential.

ECONOMIC AND PROPERTY IMPLICATIONS

One of the wind industry's most overlooked impacts is the decrease in property values, socio-economic factors, and the financial irregularities related to tax money, pension- and

green fund investments.

HEALTH AND GEOPHYSICAL EFFECTS

We must analyze health issues related to infrasound and seismic sound pollution and the geological impacts of accumulative wind turbine machinery.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT POLICIES

Someone needs to advocate for local community involvement based on Aarhus Convention principles and shape policy decisions for a sustainable future.

The integrity of scientific research is paramount. In studying the wind energy industry and its practices, it's crucial to recognize that a single mistake might be an oversight,

but multiple errors indicate a discernible pattern.

This pattern revealed through thorough investigations and research into the effects of wind power, shows that its negative impacts are often insufficiently examined.
